“I started my photography journey 16 years ago. Drawn to the opportunity of capturing what you see in someone you love, the reason why you push forward each day, the way God must see each of us. Suspending that moment in time. So that when someone saw that image, they too can feel emotion rise from the heart. As I began to learn more about my equipment and abilities over the years, I also learned about myself. Using my media, subjects and surroundings to not only convey who they are through an open and compassionate perspective but also express who I am. Spiritual. Soulful. Imperfect. Love.”

When photographing, I want to compose what is special. Magical. Whether it be out in nature or in home. In places that have history and meaning. A new beginning or an old tradition. We seem to dull our lifetime experiences, but I want to capture the world in all its dramatic glory, displaying itself for us to be moved by.

Since starting my career in photography in 2006, I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to document my family and friends growing and evolving as the years flew by. It’s been a blessing to be given the gift of expressing myself through my work, not only for my own family but for the families that have put there trust in me to capture their precious milestones and memories. Allowing me turn their visions into beautiful photographs they can cherish for a lifetime.

I try my best to capture as is. Subjects, lighting, background and foregrounds all as is. Simply capturing the significance of that moment for what it was meant to be, not what I thought it should be.
I love seeing a family together, in their comfort zone. Exploring, adoring, taking in the moment, expressing emotion, sharing inside jokes. It truly brings joy to my heart to witness that, let alone be able to look back at an image and see the love shared so intimately.
